BABBITT’S ONLINE/MONSTER ENERGY®/KAWASAKI TEAM GREEN™ FINISHES THE YEAR STRONG AT THE IRONMAN GNCC WITH JOSH STRANG TAKING THE OVERALL WIN
The 12th and final round of the Grand National Cross Country took place over the weekend at the famous Ironman Raceway in central Indiana in near-perfect conditions, where team veteran Josh Strang claimed a long-overdue win. Teammates Grant Baylor and Lyndon Snodgrass would finish fourth and ninth, respectively.
At the start of the six-lap race, Strang was able to get off to a good start and set himself up well for the remainder of the race, while Baylor and Snodgrass were forced to work their way through the field over the course of the event. After coming through scoring on lap one in the third-place position, Strang didn’t look back and only improved his positioning as the race went on before making the pass for the lead on lap five.
At the conclusion of the 2023 GNCC series, Babbitt's Online/Monster Energy/Kawasaki Team Green placed two riders in the top ten in points in the premier XC-1 Pro class, with Grant Baylor taking home fifth and Josh Strang taking seventh. After missing the first half of the year, Lyndon Snodgrass would finish 12th in points.
Josh Strang
"What a day! Lots of emotions, and a super fun race with the entire XC1 class. 25 career wins is something I never dreamed of when I started, but here we are! Thank you to my entire team."
Josh Strang
"Unfortunately I could not 3 peat and I missed the podium by one second. Overall I had a fun race battling for podiums where I know I should be. Keep on trucking along and moving forward, this racing is tough but extremely fun on my KX™450X."

Cole Zeller
“It was an unfortunate result at the end, but I'm super happy with my riding and where we're at with my KX250X. I started the race in third and passed my way into the lead through the Pro Section. I was then able to extend a decent gap ahead of the competition until I had an issue and needed to pull into the pits. We got the issue resolved and I jumped back into the race to salvage a sixth place finish.”
