BABBITT’S ONLINE/MONSTER ENERGY®/KAWASAKI TEAM GREEN’S GRANT BAYLOR CLAIMS SECOND OVERALL AT THE FINAL ROUND OF THE AMA NATIONAL ENDURO CHAMPIONSHIP

The ninth and final round of the AMA National Enduro Series took place over the weekend at the Gobbler Getter National Enduro in central Alabama under unseasonably hot and dry conditions, where KX™450X-mounted Grant Baylor capped his championship-winning season with a second overall finish.

Baylor started off the day with a second-place time in test number one before going on to finish runner-up in the second and third tests of the day before taking the win in test four. Baylor would then go on to suffer from small crashes in the final tests, resulting in second-place finishes in both tests and a second-place overall finish.

At the end of the season, Grant Baylor would deliver three wins and the 2023 AMA National Enduro Championship for Team Babbitt’s/Monster Energy®/Kawasaki Team Green as a first year member of the team. Baylor looks to carry his momentum into next year's NEPG series as the defending champion.

Grant Baylor

“It was a good day and year here at the NEPG series. I wanted to end the year on top to cap off a good season, but a few too many tip-overs prevented me from accomplishing that goal. Nevertheless, I'm happy with my season and excited to defend my championship again next year."

Josh Strang

"Unfortunately I could not 3 peat and I missed the podium by one second. Overall I had a fun race battling for podiums where I know I should be. Keep on trucking along and moving forward, this racing is tough but extremely fun on my KX™450X."

Cole Zeller

“It was an unfortunate result at the end, but I'm super happy with my riding and where we're at with my KX250X. I started the race in third and passed my way into the lead through the Pro Section. I was then able to extend a decent gap ahead of the competition until I had an issue and needed to pull into the pits. We got the issue resolved and I jumped back into the race to salvage a sixth place finish.”
