Team Green Takes Home Podiums in Georgia
The third round of the Grand National Cross Country race in Georgia unfolded in an intense atmosphere marked by exceedingly muddy conditions. Despite the challenging terrain, the Kawasaki Team Green™ riders clinched multiple wins and podium positions. Caleb Wood and Nick Defeo emerged triumphant in the YXC1 and 250A classes, respectively. Rachael Archer and Joseph Cunningham contributed to the team's success by securing second place in the WXC and 250A classes. Steward Baylor Jr. secured third in the highly competitive XC1 Pro category. Babbitt’s Online/Monster Energy®/Kawasaki Team Green™ riders Grant Baylor and Lyndon Snodgrass showcased their determination by finishing eighth and 11th in the XC1 Pro class, rounding out an impressive showing for the Kawasaki team in the challenging conditions of the Georgia race.

“What a day. I did way better than I expected for this race. I started off with a good pace and then just stared clicking off laps and saw the back of the XC1 class and started picking them off one at a time. I am super stoked with this ride ready for the next round!"
Steward Baylor Jr.
“If there was an award on most passes I think it was achieved yesterday, too many mistakes that cost too much time to come back from. The final straw was getting back to the lead and I caught a log between my tire and fork, causing me to crash, loosing the lead and lead group. It was fun racing in those conditions, thanks to everyone in my corner."

“It was a lot of work going into Round 1, trying to make the right decisions to make sure we were well prepared. We made a couple small changes throughout the day, but the overall the small changes paid off in the end. I unfortunately made a few minor mistakes on the day, but we landed on the podium and the new Rocky Mountain Red Bear Kawasaki Team had a lot of guys step up this year and I cannot thank them enough!"
Chase Colville
“My KX™250X ran perfect again. I had a better start this race but need to work harder on being good at the end. Going to keep working and be ready in a couple weeks."
Joseph Cunningham
“I wasn't the fastest out there, but I definitely tried my best and still landed P2 in 250A and Amateur. Thank you to my Babbit's Online/Monster Energy®/Kawasaki Team for the support!"

“ We have made a lot of progress since I came back to racing from my shoulder injury earlier this year and we almost earned another podium tonight. It’s tough when you don’t get a start at the very front in the East/West Showdown races because it’s so competitive in the class. I had good speed and kept pushing to the end but couldn’t quite close the gap. Next we go to the Pro Motocross season and will be ready to fight for the championship.”
Carson Mumford
"I was unfortunately toward the back from the start and really had my work cut out for me to earn a top-10. With the East/West Showdown format, there are just so many good guys out there that you have to be on point the whole way through. I think we’ve made good progress as a group and, even though I joined the team a little behind the eight ball, I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished in this short time. I’m super grateful to the whole Monster Energy®/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki squad and, as my butt patch said, this has been a ‘Dream Job’ for me.”
Chris Blose
“I was in the mix for the early portion of the race but just fell back toward the end. It wasn’t my best night of the season, but there are still plenty of positives to highlight from this year as a whole. It’s been great to race with the support of the Monster Energy®/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki team and I’m really thankful to Mitch [Payton] for this opportunity. I only had a few days on the bike before we started racing and still, we managed to finish in the top-five of 250SX East points. That sort of progress doesn’t come without a lot of effort and sacrifice so, a big shoutout to the whole crew for always going the extra mile and backing me completely.”
