Ellis Earns Trio of Runner-Up Finishes for Kawasaki Team Green™ at Spring A Ding Ding

Kawasaki Team Green™ riders headed to Oak Hill Raceway in Alvord, Texas, for the annual Motoplayground Race Spring A Ding Ding, one of the five official AMA Major Amateur Events of the season. With a demanding week of both supercross and motocross racing and stacked fields across every class, the riders put their speed and consistency on display against some of the nation’s top amateur talent.

Ryder Ellis stood out with an exceptional week aboard his KX™112, earning three runner-up finishes. Ellis secured second overall in the MX Schoolboy 1 (12–17) B/C, MX Supermini 1 (12–15), and MX Supermini 2 (13–16) classes. With multiple second-place moto finishes and steady rides throughout the week, Ellis remained a consistent front-runner and proved he has the speed to contend for wins in every class he entered.

Jett Rau also took on a packed schedule, lining up in six classes across both supercross and motocross competition aboard his KX™85. Rau delivered strong rides in the SX 85cc (9–12) and SX 85cc Open (10–13) divisions, finishing sixth overall in both classes while battling through deep fields. Throughout the week, Rau showed impressive pace and gained valuable experience against some of the fastest young riders in the country.

With a full week of racing in the Texas heat and highly competitive gates, Kawasaki Team Green riders once again demonstrated their determination and skill at Spring A Ding Ding. The strong performances at Oak Hill Raceway continue to build momentum as the amateur season rolls on.

Spring A Ding Ding Results

Ryder Ellis

“Spring A Ding went pretty well. I ended up getting 2nd overall in the Supermini 1, Supermini 2, and Schoolboy 1 classes. I have some areas that need improvement, but I felt strong, and it was a great week!”

Jett Rau

“Spring A Ding had a lot of ups and downs, but I learned so much, and that’s what I’m here for. I’m excited to keep riding, keep practicing, and come back stronger for The ABE and the Loretta Lynn’s qualifiers.”
