Kawasaki Riders Battle Through Grueling MotoFest Weekend at NGPC Round 6

Pro Circuit Kawasaki Offroad riders faced one of the toughest weekends of the season at Round 6 of the 2026 National Grand Prix Championship for the Moto Fest Grand Prix at Glen Helen Raceway, with Justin Hoeft returning from injury to finish eighth in the Pro Class and Colton Aeck earning fifth in Pro II. The demanding weekend also saw Kawasaki rider Giacomo Redondi remain undefeated in the 30+ Open AA Class with his sixth consecutive victory of the season.

The second annual MotoFest event transformed Glen Helen into a full weekend of racing, combining NGPC competition with the high-profile MotoFest races and the Stopwatch National. Riders battled through a demanding track layout that incorporated and built up previous outdoor national features, requiring quick wit and technical knowledge. Additionally, the weekend held promise with more-than-ideal Southern California temperatures throughout all three days of competition.

In the Pro II Class, Aeck overcame a difficult start that left him buried in traffic early in the race. After battling his way forward on his KX™250 through the competitive field and demanding Glen Helen conditions, Aeck recovered to finish fifth in class and now sits sixth in the Pro II championship standings.

Returning to competition after missing the previous NGPC round due to injury, Hoeft put together a determined ride in the Pro Class aboard his KX™450X. The California native put forth a strong effort while battling exhaustion all day, ultimately securing an eighth-place finish and keeping himself fifth in the Pro championship standings.

Adding to Kawasaki success during the weekend, Redondi continued his dominant run in the 30+ Open AA Class with his sixth consecutive victory of the year. The Italian off-road veteran remains undefeated through six rounds and continues to hold the class points lead as the NGPC series heads into the summer break.

Pro Circuit Kawasaki Offroad riders will take the summer to build momentum in preparation for Round 7 in August, which picks the series back up in Preston, Idaho for the Dynamite Grand Prix.
