Running Wild: GFI Nevada Conqures The Desert at the Nevada Wild 400
The desert was unforgiving, but the GFI Nevada Racing Team brought relentless focus, seasoned preparation, and true Nevada grit to the second round of the 2025 VORRA series this past weekend at the Nevada Wild 400. With high winds, rough terrain, and mechanical curveballs in play, the team proved they're not just here to compete — they’re here to set the tone for the season.
At the center of the action was Zach Kisman, who piloted the #1941 Kawasaki KRX® 1000 to a first-place finish in the Pro NA Class. With a finely tuned setup featuring MAXXIS Tires and ADS Shocks, Zach’s car delivered consistent grip and high-performance handling across every punishing mile, allowing him to stay out front and finish strong.
Teammate Steve Austin (#316) was making solid progress before a mechanical issue struck roughly 50 miles from the finish. Despite the crew's best efforts to get him back in the race, time ran out before repairs could be completed.
With one win already secured, the team is fired up and focused as the series continues.

Zach Kisman
“Our setup this year is dialed. I could feel the tires biting where others were sliding, and the ADS shocks soaked up hits that would've rattled most rigs apart. It gave me the edge I needed.”
