Alex Lowes

“I’m really happy with fourth place and to be battling among a group of Ducatis. My pace was strong, and the changes we made to the front of the bike after Cremona helped a lot. If you're not on the fastest bike on the grid, qualifying becomes critical, and today I was able to put myself in a good position. Sectors Two and Three at Most are unbelievable on the Bimota KB998—especially Sector Three, where the bike's turning ability really shines. We weren't close to the podium in overall race time, but this is the best result we've had so far, so we have to be happy with that.”

Axel Bassani

“Race One was tough. Right from the start, I had a problem with the front brake, and the feeling wasn’t great. The rear was also spinning more than usual, which is something we need to investigate. Still, I managed to finish 12th and score some points. Congratulations to Alex for finishing fourth—it’s the best result so far for Bimota, so I’m happy for him and the whole team.”

Garrett Gerloff

“That was definitely the best Saturday I’ve had all year, and I’m really happy about it. Qualifying in eighth and starting from the third row was a solid step forward—it might be my best qualifying with Kawasaki so far. In the race, I felt decent but was missing something from the start. I kept getting passed, which is never fun, but I gave it everything I had. I think we’ve identified a few things to work on so that doesn’t happen again tomorrow. I’m looking forward to giving it another go on Sunday.”
