Tickle and Marchbanks Team Up for 2025 Success

Building Confidence, Strength, and Momentum for a Breakout Season
With the 2025 Pro Motocross season heating up, Monster Energy® Pro Circuit Kawasaki rider Garrett Marchbanks has a new asset in his corner, longtime Kawasaki racer turned mentor Broc Tickle. The two have quietly been building a strong training partnership since early in the Supercross season, with Tickle stepping in to help Marchbanks find his footing both on and off the track.
What started casually at the test track turned into something much more. “Garrett looked a little lost during the week, he asked for some help, and we started working together from there,” said Tickle. “The first few weeks moved quickly. We built a relationship, watched film after races, and addressed some key areas that needed work, especially in building confidence.”
Tickle, who still works closely with the Kawasaki team as a coach and test rider, brings a wealth of racing experience and a deep understanding of the mental and physical challenges athletes face. “Each rider at this level has what it takes,” he explained. “My goal is to help guide them, not just push hard, but push in the right direction. With Garrett, I tailor things to what he needs and try to help bring him to his highest level.”
The focus for Marchbanks this season? Strength, both in body and mindset. “Garrett’s naturally gritty. He doesn’t give up,” said Tickle. “I challenge him in a way that’s not always direct, but effective. We’re not obsessing over weaknesses, we’re doubling down on what makes him strong.”
With several of his favorite tracks still ahead, Marchbanks is poised for a strong push through the remainder of the Pro Motocross calendar. “He made a steep jump in performance early on,” Tickle added. “The prep for outdoors has been great. I think his best races are still to come.”
As for his evolving role within the Kawasaki family, Tickle sees it as an opportunity to give back to the sport he loves. “It’s like a family here,” he said. “Now that I’ve stepped away from full-time racing, it’s clear how much teamwork goes into everything. When the results come, it brings everyone together. Even during the tough weekends, we’re better when we support each other.”
With Tickle’s steady hand guiding him, Marchbanks is ready to turn heads in 2025, and Team Green is all in.

“I’m just here to help Garrett be the best version of himself, on and off the bike. He’s got the talent and the drive, and I’ve been through it all before. If I can guide him through the ups and downs and help him stay focused on the bigger picture, that’s a win for both of us and for the whole team.”
