Meet the Kawasaki Team Green™ Technicians

Team Green Gears Up for Loretta Lynn's
As the Monster Energy® AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship at Loretta Lynn's quickly approaches, Kawasaki Team Green™ - the industry leader in trackside support and having the most titles at the ranch - is gearing up for a busy week supporting its Monster Energy® Kawasaki Team Green amateur motocross racing team, all Kawasaki racers and anyone else who may need assistance. As riders of all ages from all around the globe will roll into the ranch for their shot at glory, and behind every green bike on the line is a team of dedicated professionals driven to help them succeed.
If you have spent time around the paddock at a Grand National Cross Country or AMA National Enduro race, or needed assistance from the Team Green trackside support on the East Coast, you've more than likely met Doug Douchette. A Team Green technician since his first day on the job in 2003, the veteran plays a key role in ensuring Kawasaki bikes operate at peak performance on race day. Douchette looks forward to Loretta's every year. "The atmosphere and energy from the riders, families, and industry is unlike any other race," he said. Alongside him this year at Loretta's will be Eric Mollman, a newcomer to the team but not to Kawasaki. Officially Team Green’s West Coast trackside support technician, Mollman will be lending his racing expertise and motorcycle knowledge to the trackside support crew for the week. Previously a Field Service Advisor in Utah, Mollman found his ideal landing spot last year when a position opened up on Team Green.
Behind the gate at most races throughout the year, you'll find Derek Winship and Danny Meress, who turn the wrenches for Monster Energy Kawasaki Team Green riders Landen Gordon and Enzo Temmerman. Winship has been with Kawasaki since 2021 after making the switch from another manufacturer. He is familiar with what it takes to win, having previously worked as Drew Adams' mechanic before he turned pro and earned a spot on the Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki team. Meress, the youngest member of the team, joined Team Green in 2023. Having previously worked as a mechanic at a motocross training facility in Georgia, he met the Team Green staff through a side job of changing tires at the races. Shortly after, he was offered a job at Team Green and made the move to the Kawasaki corporate headquarters in Foothill Ranch, California. Meress brings his unwavering spirit and strong work ethic to provide Temmerman with the setup he needs to win.
Aside from their technical skills, all four have riding and racing in their background, which helps them understand various Kawasaki rider needs. Together, these technicians represent the foundation of Team Green's longstanding commitment to amateur motocross and off-road racing. They not only help keep the bikes running smoothly, but also support dreams and help young athletes take their next big step.

“I am very happy to have signed again with the Kawasaki WorldSBK Team for the 2026 season. I have been confident in the team and everything we have been doing. We are moving forward, even if it has been tough at times. I am happy with the team, the progress that we have made in the first half of the season, and their belief in me. They have been great at not putting undue pressure on me. I can see that they believe in the project and they also believe in me. We all want to keep investing and developing the bike. I am excited to build on what I have come to know about the Ninja® ZX™-10RR. It’s going to be nice to continue with the same project, the same people, and while not having to re-learn anything fundamental. For 2026, I am sure that is going to be positive for us.”
