MONSTER ENERGY® KAWASAKI RIDERS EARN PODIUM FINISHES AT SPRING CREEK
Round 7 of the AMA Pro Motocross Championship was held at the famous Spring Creek MX Park in Millville, Minnesota. Monster Energy®/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki rider Jo Shimoda brought home two moto podiums and finished third overall (2-3), tying him for third in the 250 Class points standings. Austin Forkner made his 2023 Pro Motocross debut finishing a solid ninth overall (11-9), while Seth Hammaker and Ryder DiFrancesco overcame adversity and finished 14th (12-15) and 16th (19-11), respectively. Jett Reynolds unfortunately was forced to miss Round 7 due to illness. In the 450 Class, Monster Energy® Kawasaki rider Jason Anderson claimed his first moto podium of the season and finished 10th overall (3-38) and Adam Cianciarulo collected another top-5 overall in fifth place (7-5).

“It was a tough weekend for me. I felt amazing on my KX™250, and I always love Millville. First Moto I crashed off the start and charged hard the whole race. Moto 2 I had a third place start and went down on the first lap. Starting last in both motos made the day tough but I never gave up. We are regrouping this week and looking forward to Washougal.”

"I felt really good coming into the weekend, but my results didn’t show. We had great starts and we’re getting closer each round. I’m ready to put in work for Washougal."

“Our starts are great on the KX™450SR. The rougher the track the harder it is for me. I’m not where I want to be, but I am proud of myself for how far we’ve come. I’m excited for the rest of the season and see if we can click off some more podiums.”

"Moto 1 went well and I felt consistent. Then Moto 2 came and the crash at the start made it hard to come back to the top 10 again. Therefore I tried my best to stay consistent and make as little mistakes as I could. We will reevaluate and be ready for next weekend."
