Kawasaki Celebrates a Dual Podium Weekend at Foxhills
Kawasaki riders delivered a weekend of strong performances and tight battles at Foxhills Moto Parc. Romain Febvre continued his charge to the front with a third consecutive podium, while Courtney Duncan secured her first WMX podium of the season to strengthen her hold on third in the standings. Taylor Hammal impressed in his wildcard MXGP appearance with an 11th-place finish in Moto 1, and Kay Karssemakers showed Top 10 speed despite being hindered by mechanical issues and race incidents in MX2. Meanwhile, Pauls Jonass endured a frustrating weekend after displaying front-running pace before crashes and misfortune cut his races short.

"I'm feeling good at the moment, and we are building every weekend. The track was a little different each day; yesterday the dirt was deeper, but it packed hard today so it was good for the race. The starts are coming now so I can run at the front with the other guys from the word go; there were some options for different lines today, but it was still difficult to pass because we had similar speed. I still didn't take a moto on race day yet, but I'm trying to stay consistent. I'm feeling strong physically, I'm getting closer to the win every week, and I'm excited for the next races as I really like both Loket and Lommel."

"The first moto yesterday was definitely a step in the right direction. The speed was there, the fitness too. I was a bit of my old self again; I just need to get off the start. The improvement was just down to plain and simple hard work, and I loved the track with the hills and the off-cambers; it was real old school motocross. It would have been nice to have won or been second, but I'm stoked to be back on the box and can be proud of the improvements we have made during the last six weeks; I'm not quite back to where I was, but I'm well and truly on my way, and thanks to all those who have helped me get here."

"It was a really crazy race after the engine stalled at the gate, but it was a good experience to see what I am capable of, making so many passes to come from last to take another podium. I was still fresh at the end and could have taken even more if the moto had been five minutes longer. I'm happy for my teammate; he deserved to win today."

"We have been getting closer step-by-step, and it was good to have my first podium of the season before the break. I found a good flow in the first moto to finish second, but [Liam] Everts crashed right in front of me on the first lap of the second race. I knew I had to push hard to get on the box after that, but I managed it."

"My speed was good in both practices, but I'm just lacking a bit of confidence in the longer motos. I don't get physically tired, but you need to be on your top game to battle up front at this level; sometimes you just need to pin and not be scared in sketchy moments. The second moto was a step in the right direction, and now we have one month to regroup and come back swinging for the rest of the season."
