"You cannot imagine how proud I am to turn it around in race two. I should have had that first moto win too, but I just made a few mistakes near the end and Prado capitalized; The humid weather made it tough for all of us, and those guys behind me are really young; they were pushing me but I showed again that I can still win. Thanks to all of the team and our sponsors for their hard work and support; we made it 1-1 in Indonesia, but now I'm happy to go back to Europe. We have won before at both Loket and Lommel so I look forward to the next two GPs, but most of all I look forward to being with my family again; I know they were watching online."

“It was an unfortunate result at the end, but I'm super happy with my riding and where we're at with my KX250X. I started the race in third and passed my way into the lead through the Pro Section. I was then able to extend a decent gap ahead of the competition until I had an issue and needed to pull into the pits. We got the issue resolved and I jumped back into the race to salvage a sixth place finish.”
