By race day on Sunday, the weather had shifted dramatically, with overcast skies and a refreshing breeze providing a much cooler start to the morning. As the day progressed, the cloud cover remained, helping retain valuable moisture in the track while keeping riders out of the direct sun. The improved conditions created an ideal racing surface, setting the stage for another exciting round of the championship.

Facing the challenging Gopher Dunes circuit for the first time, Kade Johnson approached qualifying with patience and confidence, focusing on learning the deep sandy layout and identifying the fastest lines around the track.
