BUD RACING KAWASAKI AND KAWASAKI RACING TEAM DELIVER STRONG PERFORMANCES AT FRAUENFELD

Bud Racing Kawasaki's Mathis Valin showcased a remarkable comeback in the second moto of the Swiss round of the FIM European EMX250 Championship, reclaiming his series points lead with a stunning victory in the muddy conditions at Frauenfeld. Kawasaki Racing Team MXGP's Jeremy Seewer and his teammate Romain Febvre delivered strong performances at the seventeenth round of the 2024 FIM World MXGP Motocross Championship in Frauenfeld, Switzerland. During his 200th consecutive GP appearance, Seewer narrowly missed the podium despite challenging conditions due to heavy rain. Teammate Romain Febvre also put in a commendable performance. After starting ninth in the first race, Febvre quickly advanced to sixth, staying close to the leading group but unable to make further gains.

"I came here to win. Yesterday was difficult after the crash at the start, so today I wanted to get my revenge! I did it and we kept the red plate, so that was a perfect way to respond. I love the rain and the mud, and I could pass him and resist his challenge to the finish. I even rode my best lap at the very end so I'm proud about that."

Jeremy Seewer

“It was a very solid weekend; unfortunately, I ended up just missing the podium with P4. There were many positives; my riding was good and my speed was waybetter, particularly yesterday during Qualifying when I was fighting for the lead. I had two solid motos today with no mistakes; just that last small fraction was not there for the podium. The Swiss fans were super-cool as usual. They really are the next level; they support me rain or shine and give me a lot of energy.”

“It was an unfortunate result at the end, but I'm super happy with my riding and where we're at with my KX250X. I started the race in third and passed my way into the lead through the Pro Section. I was then able to extend a decent gap ahead of the competition until I had an issue and needed to pull into the pits. We got the issue resolved and I jumped back into the race to salvage a sixth place finish.”
