Alex Lowes
“Here at Magny-Cours we got straight back into a good rhythm. From the first practice the bike felt strong, and qualifying well made a big difference. On this track we had some real advantages, which gave me confidence to push. In Race Two it was tough in the hot conditions, but I enjoyed it and three podiums show how well this new project is coming together. Now the goal is to be competitive at more circuits.”
Axel Bassani
“We didn’t start the weekend well, but the team worked incredibly hard and made a big step. In the end we reached our goals. Alex’s podiums are great for the team and also for Bimota, and I’m happy for everyone involved.”
Garrett Gerloff
“I have to apologize to the team again because this was not the weekend we were hoping for. I wanted to make more progress in the Superpole Race and get into the top nine to improve my grid spot, but it was tough. Locatelli and I started from the last row and battled together through both races, making similar progress. Fourteenth in the Superpole Race and 11th in Race Two wasn’t what I wanted, but now we look ahead to Aragón. I really want to finish the year with some stronger results.”
Jeremy Alcoba
“I am super-happy because I fought until the very end for the podium. From half-race distance I struggled with both front and rear grip, so I tried to follow another rider to manage the pace. In the last laps I was able to recover some time and I pushed hard to try for third, but it wasn’t possible in the final corner. We were really close to the podium, which shows our potential. I will keep working and aim to achieve it at my home race in Aragón. Thanks to the whole team for their support.”
