SILVER MEDAL FOR ROMAIN FEBVRE AND TOP-SIX WORLD RANKING FOR KEVIN HORGMO
Romain Febvre of Kawasaki Racing Team MXGP clinched the series silver medal in the FIM World MXGP Motocross Championship at Maggiora in northern Italy with another moto win. F&H Kawasaki Racing Team's Kevin Horgmo moved into sixth in the FIM World MX2 Motocross Championship series standings with sixth in each moto at Maggiora in northern Italy.
Romain Febvre
"I was happy with my riding and my feeling for the track in the second moto and I finally found a spot to pass Prado to take the lead. Gajser was pushing and I knew that he had some better lines than me as he was closing the gap at one stage but I eventually saw where he was faster so I could change my lines and make a small gap again to win this moto. The next GP is in the UK and I like this track as there’s always good grip, deep ruts, and racing there with a 450 is truly a pleasure."
Kevin Horgmo
"I got two good starts in the top six/seven but it was difficult to make time on such a high-speed track. I felt good in the first race but it was not easy to pass; I was fifth on the last lap but a lapper got in my rut and I wasn't sure which side to go so Coenen got me. They flattened the track for the second moto so it was really fast and I didn't feel quite as comfortable. I made a small crash in a corner and lost three places when I was sixth but I came back again. I was looking for more as far as results are concerned but I again showed I have the speed so I just need to give it my all at Matterley and the Nations to end the season on a high."
Quentin Marc Prugnières
"My second start was good but on the first lap I hit the rear wheel of another rider and crashed while I was in the top-five. After the crash it took me several laps to find my rhythm and my lines again before I came back to seventh. No excuses; I missed another podium by just a few points but I know what I have to work on to be ready for the next round in Turkey."

“It was an unfortunate result at the end, but I'm super happy with my riding and where we're at with my KX250X. I started the race in third and passed my way into the lead through the Pro Section. I was then able to extend a decent gap ahead of the competition until I had an issue and needed to pull into the pits. We got the issue resolved and I jumped back into the race to salvage a sixth place finish.”
