Ricky Russell added his name to the history books at the 2026 Corduroy Enduro, racing to the overall victory ahead of Canadian Tyler Medaglia and fellow American Tyler Vore. The victory marked only the second Kawasaki win in the event’s 75-year history and the first since Allan Lachappelle claimed the top step aboard a KX™250 in 2000.

Canada’s largest off-road racing event welcomed more than 700 competitors for two days of racing across a wide variety of terrain. Making his first appearance at the historic event, Russell quickly adapted to the mix of technical trails, rocky sections, water crossings and demanding enduro tests. Favorable conditions throughout the weekend allowed competitors to attack the course, and Russell remained strong aboard his KX™450X across both days of competition to secure the overall victory over a competitive field.

Russell’s performance also earned him a $10,000 Team Green™ Canada Contingency Program payout (known as Team Green™ Racer Rewards in the United States) as part of more than $40,000 available at the 2026 Corduroy Enduro. Kawasaki was well represented throughout the weekend, with Team Green riders competing across the Pro, Expert, Women’s Pro and Novice divisions.

After completing his first Corduroy Enduro with the overall win, Russell praised the event and the performance of his Kawasaki machine across the challenging Canadian terrain. “It was a great trip up to Canada for my first experience at the Corduroy Enduro,” said Russell. “I had a blast all weekend, and my KX™450X was working awesome with such a wide variety of terrain this event had to offer. We may have been spoiled with the perfect conditions, but I would love to make a return in the future and hopefully keep Kawasaki on top.”

Russell’s victory capped off a successful weekend for Team Green and returned Kawasaki to the top step of the Corduroy Enduro podium for the first time in 26 years. With the win, Russell became just the second Kawasaki rider to claim the overall victory in the event’s 75-year history.
