24 Hours of Glen Helen
Patricio Cabrera Claims Another Ironman Class Victory
Patricio Cabrera Conquers the 24 Hours of Glen Helen
The 24 Hours of Glen Helen is an endurance race that tests not only the machine, but the rider’s mind, body, and grit. Competitors aim to complete as many laps as possible within 24 hours on a challenging 10-mile course that combines a mix of terrain from the national motocross track to off-road sections, single track, and more.
The 2024 Baja 1000 Ironman Class winner, Patricio Cabrera, took on the demanding task over the weekend of racing solo and emerged victorious aboard his Kawasaki KX™450SR.
Midway through the race, Cabrera suffered a crash, which resulted in a couple of broken ribs, but that didn't stop him from completing his goal.
Despite the grueling conditions and setbacks he faced, Cabrera started and ended the race in first, completing a total of 55 laps, six more laps than second place. The victory adds another remarkable achievement to his impressive resume of endurance race wins.

“Winning at the most iconic venue in motocross is something I’ll cherish forever. After 10 Dakar Rallies, a World Championship, and now the 24 Hours of Glen Helen, I feel completely fulfilled as a rider. Thank you to my family, my kids, my incredible team, and the sponsors who make it all possible. A new chapter begins, but one thing’s certain, races are won through preparation and passion. Let’s keep pushing!”
