MONSTER ENERGY®/PRO CIRCUIT/KAWASAKI RIDER CAMERON MCADOO CELEBRATES SECOND PLACE IN ARLINGTON

Monster Energy®/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki rider Cameron Mcadoo battled through a rutted and challenging Texas track, securing the win in his Heat Race and second place in the Eastern Regional 250SX Class Main Event. Seth Hammaker claimed the top qualifying position and fourth in the main event, and Austin Forkner took first in his heat race but crashed while leading the main event. Monster Energy® Kawasaki rider Jason Anderson would finish third in his heat race and 10th in the 450SX Main Event after a crash on the first lap.

“I felt okay today. I just have to practice those starts and stop making small mistakes like in the heat and main. We are better than I was tonight and I’m going to get to work this week and get ready for Daytona. Thank you to my Monster Energy® Kawasaki team for all of their hard work!”

Levi Kitchen

“All in all, it was a strong day for me. Qualifying went well, securing the second spot, and I clinched the win in my heat race. In the main event, I faced a bit of sluggishness in the initial five minutes, likely due to some crazy stuff within the top three. Fortunately, I made my way through the chaos unscathed and ultimately secured the second position. So, it turned out to be a successful night for me and the Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki team and I'm thrilled to leave with the red plate.”

Adam Cianciarulo

“San Diego, it was a tough one. I felt really good and comfortable during practice and very happy with the changes we made on the KX™450SR from last week. Then the rain came and I began to struggle. The heat race I fell over a few times. Obviously going to the LCQ is not something I’m proud of, but I was stoked to get some more track time and figure it out before the main. I tried my best to get through the pack, and I feel like I learned a lot and am ready to move forward the rest of the season.”

Austin Forkner

“All I can say is wow, what a great start to the season. A year ago we didn’t make it past the first turn, and now here we are, holeshot, heat race and main event winners. It’s been a long, hard road to get here, but it feels great to be back up on top. A lot of people have doubted me and my return, but I’m glad to be back to where I feel like I belong. We have done lots of training, and I felt great on my KX™250 all weekend. I can’t thank my Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki team, trainers and family enough. This is a game changer for me and I’m ready to keep this red plate.”

Cameron McAdoo

“Today was a good day. I have been struggling with some knee pain recently, so to be able to grab a heat race win and second overall in the main feels good. We have proven that we have the speed to run up front, I just have to keep getting those starts and being consistent and I know we have a shot at this championship. Thank you to my Monster Energy®/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki team for their support. Time to do it again in Daytona!”

Seth Hammaker

“This weekend was a huge step in the right direction for me. Securing the fastest qualifier, maintaining a podium position in the heat and main event reminded me that I belong up front. We will keep working and taking these positive steps forward.”

Maximus Vohland

“The day was going good until it wasn’t. I qualified pretty good and I felt comfortable in the mud. I had a good start for the heat race and set myself up in a good position for the mud and the main event. In the main I felt comfortable and thought we were going to have a good race until we had an issue that ended our night. I am bummed out for the night to end that way because I felt like I ran pretty good all day and had a great chance at a podium. But we will regroup and get back to it this week and come in firing to San Diego.”
