Kawasaki Teryx® Side x Side Racers Sweep Victories at VORRA Prospector 250

Kawasaki Teryx® side x side racers delivered an impressive performance at the VORRA Prospector 250, with Steve Austin and Adam Petryk each securing class victories. Battling through 240 miles of punishing desert terrain, both drivers showcased resilience and race management to secure the top step of the podium.

In the Stock Mod Class, Austin powered his Teryx®4 H2 to a hard-fought victory in the team’s first race with the platform. With limited seat time leading into the event and a last-minute push to get the car race-ready, Austin took a measured approach from the start, rolling off the line near the back of the field before steadily building momentum. As the race unfolded, he methodically worked his way through traffic, navigating heavy dust conditions while making passes across multiple classes.

Prioritizing a finish in the new machine, Austin made a strategic mid-race pit stop for preventative maintenance just past the halfway mark, ensuring reliability over the final miles. Austin maintained a consistent charge through the field to ultimately secure the class win and finish eighth overall out of 45 drivers.

Competing in the Pro N/A UTV Class, Adam Petryk matched that success in his Teryx® KRX™ 1000 with a victory of his own. Petryk demonstrated impressive endurance and race management throughout the race, navigating the technical desert conditions while keeping a steady charge at the front of the field to claim the class win.

With the VORRA Prospector 250 being known for its grueling length and ever-changing terrain, this double class victory highlights both the capability of Kawasaki's off-road machines and the determination of these drivers. Kawasaki side x side racers will look to carry this momentum into the next round of competition as the season continues.
