“I actually had a really good jump in the first moto. The track was harder than expected, and I went with a different tire that didn’t give me the grip I needed on the straight. I stayed close to the front guys, but they had just a little more pace in key areas. For the second race, we switched back to my usual tires and made small suspension changes—it gave me more traction. I grabbed the holeshot, and that changed everything. I could ride freely, take my own lines, and control the race—even when Fernandez pushed hard toward the end. The top five are all so close in speed, so getting a good start is crucial.”

“What a perfect weekend. I already felt at home on the track during practice, then won the first moto. Today the track had more ruts, but I always felt in control. I rode a little too calmly at the start but pushed hard in the second half to take the win. I have a great feeling with the bike right now and the team atmosphere is amazing. I’m happy to get my first 1-1 sweep in EMX—I'm not really in the title fight after losing some points earlier in the season, so I came here for race wins. Mission accomplished.”
