The GFI Nevada Racing Team is pleased to announce an outstanding performance at Best in the Desert's Vegas to Reno race, where Zach Kisman (#1941) achieved first place in the Pro N/A UTV class, driving his race built Kawasaki Teryx KRX® 1000 to a decisive victory. The race, spanning 550 miles of Nevada's most challenging terrain, showcased intense competition. Kisman's exceptional driving skills, combined with co-driver Tony Bonanno's strategic navigation, enabled the duo to secure this well-deserved win, further solidifying GFI Nevada's position as a leader in off-road racing. Adding to the event's appeal, legendary wrestler "Stone Cold" Steve Austin (#316) attracted significant attention, energizing both fans and racers. Austin, alongside co-driver Shane Kisman, made an impressive climb from 8th place to 3rd before he was forced to retire 100-miles into the race. Despite this setback in his first pro UTV class race, Austin remains committed to pursuing further success in off-road racing. The two Kawasaki Teryx KRX® 1000 vehicles were critical to the team's success. The introduction of Star Stream to the GFI team provided fans with an immersive experience, allowing them to feel as if they were in the driver's seat, enhancing engagement and excitement. The GFI Nevada Racing Team is now preparing for their next challenge at the Stomping Grounds 300, hosted by the Valley Off-Road Racing Association (VORRA), scheduled for September 13-15.
